1) Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your province/territory) to use the Service.
• Login is required. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2) Nature of the Service (Entertainment Only)

The chatbot delivers light, playful “roast”/“trash talk” content about spending and “wealth status.” All statements are fictional, satirical, and exaggerative, not factual claims, advice, or judgments. See the Safe Humor Disclaimer.

3) Payments & Pricing

• Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe’s Terms and Privacy Policy.
• Prices are listed in CAD unless stated otherwise and may change at any time.
• Except where required by law, all purchases are non-refundable.

4) Acceptable Use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes, harassment, threats, or to target protected groups.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service.
• Generated content should be treated as satire; do not present it as fact about a person.

5) Content Rules

We aim for “safe satire.” We prohibit content that is hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, or otherwise unlawful. We may filter or refuse content at our discretion.

6) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

7) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

8) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vancouver, BC.

9) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Effective” date will change when updates are posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

• Account Data: name, email, password (hashed), login timestamps.
• Usage Data: chatbot interactions, device/browser metadata, basic analytics.
• Payment Data: processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

2) Why We Use It

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To enforce Terms and ensure safe, policy-compliant use.
• To send essential service communications (e.g., receipts, security alerts).

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3) Legal Basis & Consent (Canada)

We rely on your consent to collect and use personal information for the purposes above and on our legitimate interests in operating a secure, effective Service. You may withdraw consent, though doing so may limit your ability to use the Service.

4) Sharing

• Stripe: payments are handled under Stripe’s policies (Privacy).
• Service Providers: hosting, analytics, and security vendors under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal: if required by law, regulation, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5) Retention

We retain account and usage data while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for compliance, security, and accounting. Payment records may be retained to meet tax and auditing obligations.

6) Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No online system is 100% secure.

7) Your Rights

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion (subject to legal/operational limits).
• Withdraw consent (may disable your access).

8) Children

9) International Transfers

Service providers may process data outside your province or outside Canada. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections where required.
